im going to get some radiator mounts from the parts truck tomorrow and get all that stuff mounted up. im interested to see just how bad the fans will fit on the diesel radiator but ill figure it out and for a little update i put the radiator support on and wired the engine compartment up. everything to start it is wired now i just need the finish the floor repair and paint some stuff then ill move to the inside cab wires. its coming along!

i just picked up 8 feet of 4x3 1/4 inch tubing to use as my rock sliders i also cut out the rockers tonight to fit it in there after i weld it to the body im going to put 3 2 inch round pipes from the slider to the frame to stiffen everything up. i decided to wait on fixing the floor till the sliders were done since its easier to access everthing without floors there.

cut the rocker off

i need a 60 if anyone can help me out with that it would be great i have inner shafts and some other chit i just need everything else if anyone has a housing and knuckles or even a whole axle let me know.

Good luck, it took me like 2 months of craigslist twice a day to find a decent 60. I will keep my eye out for you though

$1000 with a 14 bolt thrown in sold that for $100 so $900

ya damn well i dont think i can pay that i would rather get one that needed to be rebuild for 500 and rebuild it even if it ended up being 1000 in the end i would feel better knowing for a fact that all the stuff in it was for sure good. i think im just going to try and get a job at pick and pull. then i can snatch one up right when it comes in.

Usually 60fronts go for $1000 that need to be rebuilt.......My 60 was $800
Detroit-$600
crossover steering-around $600
diff cover-$100
gears-$200
rotors, brakes, king pins.......$$$ And thats me doing the labor......

That sounds about right though crossover can be done a little cheaper with a junkyard box and pitman arm. I have about 300 into mine with a mix of junkyard, offroad unlimited and offroad design parts. With a the granny low of the 465 you can get away with the stock 4.10/4.56 and big tires.
