Dude sweet build. Shame you cali boys miss out on the dual exhaust! Trade off I guess, most the old junkers are still on the road over here. If you find one it looks like it was pushed off a clif! Anyways keep up the good work!

in post 395 is that a wheel bearing thats being used as a body mount? also what size front tire is that and are the hubs on the eatons a bolt on type the the selectro hubs on a dodge? its coming along nicely and im loving the flex you have in the front springs. are the sliders 2x3 or 2x4 rock sliders? what gears are in the eatons and are they locked? do you have anymore info on the eatons and any updates?
can you order a detroit for an eaton or is it the same as a 14BFF in design? i don't know too much about eatons except that they are supposed to be pretty strong and any info you have on them would be appreciated. i think a local junkyard has 1 or 2 eatons if somebody didn't get to them before me
i think what scares people also if parts sourcing and prices. i heard parts for Eatons tend to get a bit pricey

Is that the stock front swaybar setup for the Eaton? More swaybar pics please.![]()
eatons arent that scarce in wrecking yards so if i needed something i would just go take it from a yard. not that hard. but i know what youre saying some people are just too lazy to put any effort in to find something i guess![]()

thats the stock tie rod there was no sway bar
Got it, weirdness.

Whats with that steering arm?
it was welded to the side of the base when i got it and i cut it off and welded it in its current location for the crossover. i know its jangly but im not too worried since it was drove on welded the way it used to be for 10 years
