My trucks winter build at a glance...

I hand't realized I was inadvertantly bank rolling your winter build...well part of it. Looks bad ass, I wanna see pics of the complete boatsides and how that cable shifter works out for you.

Are the 2 curved bars that the blue colored lights hang off for looks? Or do they curve out of the way of the stock headlights? I think Watson has something simular?

Or is it a kind of gusset? Don't know so maybe I missed something. Looks good though!

It is the curse of the truggy. There has yet to be a narrowed truggy with head lights that didn't look bug eyed.

The tubes protect the lights in the event of a flop or roll.

Ah I see now. Thanks, it makes sense! :)

yeah, they all tend to wind up looking sorta similar, but different, for all the same reasons...

I know its a buggy and not a truggy, but if some truggy guys tried they could do something like this I'd think

Progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was basically my first full day of working on the truck in 2 months, felt good :D

Got the rear shocks mounted up and the top of the bed skinned as well as all the gusseting for the shock mounts. Also managed to clean up the work area, felt so nice not working in dirt/mud...

Looks great man!! I can't wait to see it at BB05'. It will definetly be Magazine coverage worthy when you are all done.

Are you building for maybe a TTC??

Nah I see no point in TTC. It's basically just a comp to go and thrash the poo out of your rig and get a t-shirt at the end

Boat siding is pretty much finished off, will be nice not getting hung on the rockers anymore...

Seat mounts are all in, only one seat is bolted in but all the mounts are in and done. Working on inner cage all this next week.

Only got to work from 1pm to 8pm today but this is what I got done...

Inner cage is gettin there! Wish I had my other two seats so I could see it all finished... Still quite a bit of tube to go though.

That seat looks SOOOOOO far back. Does it recline back too so you can be pimping on the trail? :flipoff2:

It's just the angle of the photo:

Looks awesome. :cool1:
Is there a dash spreader bar there??
I really like how you got it so tight fitting to the door area :xmas:

There will be, still have the roof X bracing, the rear C hoop X bracing and the dash stuff to do...

i see all the bracing on the front of the axle, say you needed to change your gears, would you need to grind a bunch of stuff off, or does it all unbolt?
thats how i want to set up mine, with the dubble sided ram, for hydro assist, to be able to eaisly upgrade to full hydro in the future.

The big IOR thing comes off. There are flange thingies that hold it on. The only reason I know is because he posted some pics when he was building it.
