New Bumpers Installed

Earl, would you be willing to ask the fab shop if they would be interested in taking orders for other CK5 members for these same bumpers for first gens? I'd be willing to pay that kind of money for bumpers like that too. Thanks
Hoby

X3!

I'm interested in the back bumper.

Those are PERTY..... nice to see a set of bumpers that fit properly. Any more pics of the front, w/ a shot of the winch mount. thanks and all

Big Blzn, I'll definitelty talk to the shop owners. This may be something they are interested in, I know they are very enterprising and meticulous about thier work product.

Any word on this yet??? Looking at the rear for me, but no jerri cans for me!:D

I was actually just at the shop today, I'm having them build a complete cage. I'll ask them on Friday about marketing the rear bumper. I'm sure they'll be interested...

The shop is located in Oroville, CA. 530-534-8960

Art and Jerry are the owners, great guys! They do a ton of specialized fabrication for all types of businesses in the area along with 4x stuff.

As close to perfection as you can get. They had a lot of hours and skilled hands in developing those bumpers. Your design is to be admired. A lot of small details well thought out.:D

Pivot

Hey, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question (wouldn't be the first time...) Anyways, I'm getting ready to fab some bumpers for my 72 so I was on here looking and came across your thread. I REALLY like the look of these bumpers and was planning on something similar (in my head at least). As for the rear tire carrier you mention a 3500# pivot. Can you tell me where you got that/or what it's made from. I google'd it and all I got were nv3500 results and crap about dodge 3500 ball joints... I know to support the weight of a 40" tire and the bracket itself you need a strong bearing truss, just wasn't certain what to go with on that. Was thinking about the typical wheel bearing bolted to the top of the bumper but yours looks much cleaner and has the advantage of not blocking the taillight like you mentioned. Any info is much appreciated.
