new daily driver

Well I broke the block where the starter mounts up! So now I've been trying to figure out what to do. A use 350 runs around 200 too 900 dollars and an ls with all the wiring and computer runs 1350 from a junkyard and it comes with a 90 day warranty. So Im trying to find a good route to take.

We are LKQ Auto parts. There's one in Lincoln and Omaha. But not all of them will do them as cheap as some yards.

No I bought a suburban so now I have another truck.

So...is the CUCV still happy? Or are ya planning on replacing it?

FYI, I have seen pictures of a starter mount welded back onto a block. If you can find a shop willing and able to do such, you may not need to toss that engine. :dunno:

Same thread just posting whats going on with my trucks. Unfortunately the blazer is stalled till I get the suburban figured out. Though you guys would have some knowledge on fixes.

Ok guy can you help me out I want to know what the top left opening was for and is it possible to move my voltage gauge over there?
