new daily driver

Yeah I couldn't resist. It's going to the exhaust shop Wednesday. Then my list is down to a new tail gate, get the heater switch, get my third row seat swapped in!

Also if you stay 24v, Im not but that is more good logic than ck5 logic lol, you will need your dummy gen lights on the gauges.

If forced to choose, I'd rather have gauges than 24V. The cranking speed is nice, but I can't think of any other advantages. Unless you have another NATO vehicle and the appropriate jumper lead.

And we all run around with nato slave plugs lol, I am excited to lose my 24 junk.

I haven't quite decided it's worthwhile to ditch the 24V starter. But I'm really close. I am going to ditch the resister bank on the glow plugs. That was a bad idea from day one, as each burnt-out plug makes the others more likely to burn out. Having freshly replaced my burned-out plugs, they are going to be running off the 12V system instead of the 24V system.

So I'm 1/2-way there, right?

And there's no reason that I couldn't still use my NATO slave plug, I just need to get a jump off of a 12V truck. Like yours. :D

I lost my resistor pack in 2010, started smoking changed to 12v lol, Im keeping my plug it will it will just be 12v :)

I'm not quite sure what exhaust They ran but I think the receipt says 2 1/4. How would one go about getting rid of the 24 volt.

Ok. If I converted would I be able to add ac? That would help with hauling my newborn. And what gauges would I be able to eliminate?
