New PitBull Tires Introduced

At this point, I could not care less about about weight, balancing, road manners or road noise.
Hell, I like the road noise...it reminds me of how much I paid for these hunks of rubber.

Make something in the 46 to 47 inch range.
Give Interco some competition...
By the way, I'd be honored to take the first set off the molds and bash them on the rocks.
 
thats the the only way to do, I believe you can't stand behind a product if you don't have personaly experience with it. If it works out my daily driver will get so I can be an Oregon dealer.

Here's the deal...we are going to make the 39.5 with 22/32nds. Without going into too much detail about it...trust me when I say...it's for the best...so the tires work awesome off-road.

Granted, I don't design tires... but what is the problem w/ just going as deep as possible on the Rockers? Why not throw a full inch on there? Who cares about weight... what is a couple additional pounds on something that has to weigh close to 90 lbs anyways? If people bitch about having too much tread, tell them to go drive on the highway for a month and the tread will be right where they want it...

The problem with having really tall lugs is that rubber flexes a lot. If it's a soft compound the rubber will actually lay over and when that happens it can't bite the terrain. Not to mention with tall lugs it feels like you're driving on brooms (imagine the bristles of a broom being the tread on the tire) and causes stability issues.

A sure sign of deep tread and soft tires is when the corners of all the lugs are rounded. Back in my ATV racing days we used to take Dico Turf Tamers (now Titan I believe) and have them spun on a tire shaver to make the tread less deep for hardpack TT racing.

However, I like the tires to have as deep as possible tread. Stick some wear bars in there for stability if need be.
 
NEUROC/PARAGON CRAWL

For what's it's worth. Jeremy Crone came in first place both yesterday in the rain...and today when it was dry...to finish first overall in the stock class.

He was using our 35X1450-15 ROCKER tires.

It is my understanding that prior to today...his best finish had been 5th place.

He won by 9 points and was using beadlocks on the outer and running the tires 6 to 7 psi.

There were 19 competitors in his class and many running the BFG Krawlers.

Like I said...for what it's worth.

do you know if any one (amg website, ect) has done a revew of the mudder? like a head to head comparison with another tire?
featureing ratings in different catagorys?

if i could see a reveiw i would be locked into buying some /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

33x1350-15s will be available in the Rocker by January. Our radials will be 33x1250R15 hopefully by next summer.
