noJeeps 2001 duramax Frank - new headlights

I replaced the stereo in mine with one that integrated a backup camera and bluetooth. I really like it. If you're interested I can look up which one I went with.

I would like to know.

I found one on Crutchfield for $250 plus a new dash panel and install kit for another $200. It was a double din Boss audio nav system with backup camera and Bluetooth. I know Boss isn't the best, but it'll do for now. Haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, but I may soon.

Thought you had to get heater controls for an 03 to make the double din fit.

It's all I think of when I read the title to this thread...

A scene from Billy Madison where Adam Sandler (Billy) is being hounded by his dad for be a bum, and dressing terrible, and Billy says " Actually I stole this shirt from Frank" and lifts the shirt to expose FRANK in big letters written inside the shirt...

Might google it. There are a ton of people that have to modify/remove the radio basket, and change it to the 03 and up style so there is physically enough room for the radio. It slides the hvac controls down.
Crutchfield supplies the metra kit, and after a quick search it seems all I'd need to do with the kit is cut out some of the bracket behind the dash and you're good to go.

My instructions said to cut out those same brackets, but I got it to fit without doing it. There are A LOT of wires, especially when you have the stock harness adapter in there along with the siriusxm adapter, but I got it all to fit. Cutting out the bracket probably would have made it easier though.
