NON Chevy’s in the Wild

@tarussell that blue 442 looks like a car that Art Crocker had.
It sure does !
I wonder if he’s still around and was there ?

Was Arts 442 a true W30 car like this one ? It had an Alabama tag - it might have been his.

I don’t know the details of the car. Last I heard he was what Prof P&B but that was years ago.

I've always liked going to car shows. But I've always thought setting up and being IN one all day would suck.

But ever since I got the Cutlass, Im itching to get it straightened up and enter one lol.

I go early enough to try and get a decent parking spot, grab a chair outta the back and enjoy a drink while other cars come in, then I enjoy walking around. Usually food trucks or something to eat, meet some friends, bs, watch other cars coming and going. Offer a kid a seat behind the wheel when possible, then when it starts getting hot, I’m looking to leave!

I like the idea of cruise ins more than a full blown show. They seem to be shorter and smaller.

Probably do a few of those first.

And to throw a pic in....
Best pic I got of them... Green one was sorta like a wagon/hearse. But not exactly either one. :dunno:

Gilmore car museum has a drive in show every Wednesday evening May - Sept. on a good night up to 700 cars. Pretty cool for free!
They support the hobby bigtime, offering a bunch of antique auto related seminars.
just a sample of the vehicles that drive in.

I accidentally put the K-10 in with the non-Chevys, sorry

(zimmer edit)…I moved it, but I see you did too!

Although the main focus here is non Chevys, a pic of a Chevy amongst other brands is fine. Its a PITA to separate a bunch of pics.

That 66 goat is NICE.
Yeah it is !
It’s got three of them carbon makers on it too.

I got to drive a Tri-Power Goat once back in the early 90’s - the customer went along for the test drive ( kept sling’n drive belts ) and kept saying “get on it harder and keep the revs up because that’s when the problem occurs” ; so at the next stop I laid into it pretty hard in first & second gears and thought for a moment that the clutch was slipp’n.
The clutch was fine that thing was just spinning the tires with ease - it was a damn fun car to drive!
