NON Chevy’s in the Wild

Yeah it is !
It’s got three of them carbon makers on it too.

I got to drive a Tri-Power Goat once back in the early 90’s - the customer went along for the test drive ( kept sling’n drive belts ) and kept saying “get on it harder and keep the revs up because that’s when the problem occurs” ; so at the next stop I laid into it pretty hard in first & second gears and thought for a moment that the clutch was slipp’n.
The clutch was fine that thing was just spinning the tires with ease - it was a damn fun car to drive!
Back when I was a baby my dad had a red one like it. But just a 4bbl. He bought new rear tires one day, and stopped at a big intersection on the way home to do donuts..... Blew both rear tires :haha:.

He had a new motor getting cleaned and ready for a rebuild. Mom thought he was spending too much on it and not on me.
Said the car goes or she does... He sold the whole works. And if the story was correct, he sold it all for $75. :yikes:

Don’t drink the kool aid!!
Unfortunately, I already did lol.
So far I only have the one that's swapped in where it wasn't designed... But I gotta say, it's kind of addicting.
I do still love my big block, but I have to admit, that the LS is smoother, and mighty fricken impressive lol.
I can only imagine what that lsx454 is like.

:burnout:

I rode in a buddy of mine from work 2011 Camaro SS that had a nasty LSX 454 ( swapped out the LS3 ) 3,200 stall, 3.90 gear and all the chassis goodies and complete exhaust that cost more than a spare kidney - and I must say that it was AMAZING !!
On our drive we went over an I-10 bridge that’s right at three miles long with a hump in the center for ships to pass under. He nailed it on the bridge and we were doin 160 by the time we hit the hump and the car unloaded the chassis as we crested the hump and it caused my stones to retreat upwards !
That highly modified LSX 454 made several folks call out to Jesus during a ride along - it pulled strong and hard !

@tarussell or anyone else, check out this wheel / lug pattern on an old Bonneville, pretty crazy looking. A friend said there’s some kind of weird brake set up going there.

First time I ever saw that odd eight bolt pattern was in the early 90’s on a early 60’s Bonneville with a SD421 with two four barrels on it and a four speed - I put the car on the rack and initially thought that it had hub caps on it. I was floored that it was a wheel/hub setup.
By the way that car was a blast to drive and fairly quick for a big ole sled !

Just stopped and seen this.
Dude said $19k, But stressed that it's a FLEXIBLE price lol. I'd guess 15-16 would take it.
It's a nice driver. Needs work to be a show car.
All original as far as interior and such.
Think he said 318 poly.... :dunno: don't think I've heard of the poly thing.

Really I stopped to get pics, and he came out of the garage lol.
Nice greeny behind it too.
