There was about 5-6 cars of that ear on a cruise through town earlier. Went by top quick to get my phone out.

Starting to see more and more of these around - guess they’ve reached their useful lifespan for Uncle Sam and now hitting the auctions in great quantities.

Well, I was off by a few years. The oldest are ALMOST 30 years old. 1996.

Started with Stewart & Stevenson to a modified Steyr design, then Armor Holdings, then BAE, and then Oshkosh. When I was dicking with them in Lexington, KY 11-15 years ago they were BAE and Oshkosh was coming in.
