NON Chevy’s in the Wild

I've always thought they looked cool.
For a long time they were hard to service, and find parts for. Now theres some support for em again.
Parts are available n chit.

Saw these non-Chevys out in the wild - don’t know what flavor the early 1900’s car is but it was restored to damn near perfection!
The GTO passed me a little later in the day and it sounded pretty good.
I think that I posted the Power Wagon before but just in case I didn’t here it is.

The Bronco was at a used car lot - I just liked those things. I had an 88 with a 351, C6 & whatever BW13?? case that came in those things and had a tighter turning radius than anything I ever had - it was a damn good ride !

Those D90s are awesome. One of the guys I used to wheel with had one. Probably one of very few in the US that actually got used the way it was intended. They rest of the world they are out in the bush, but they ended up as status symbols here.

I know what ya mean - the one in that picture has NEVER seen a dirt road that I’m certain of !
This one is no doubt a status symbol ride.

They have such shitty reliability even the English make fun of them.
I know that’s the reputation. But he bashed it all over Tellico, Windrock, Beasley Knob, etc and it was more reliable that most makes. It’s a sample of “1” and Jay was meticulous with maintenance, so not a scientific study. Also, he was one of the most popular guys on the trail because he had an ARB freezer that was stocked with ice cream. :D

The little Sammy was tearing up the parking lot at the Dollar General store.
The Mustang was at a local alignment shop and I ain’t gotta clue what that blue car is ?!?!

The ole Jeep looked to be out enjoying the warm weather with a drive today - it was in great shape !

Please do - FJ40’s are so cool !

My first 4WD was a 79 FJ40 when I was just 18 yrs old and it started a fire in me that is still goin - of course when the 2F Yota motor threw a rod I got in touch with my inner Chevrolet side and gotta 350 outta 72 Chevelle and put it in.
Good times in that thing !

When we bought my son's 72 blazer to rebuild, (which led me here), we were offered an fj40 instead. Rust free, but in drivable since it was mid project.
My son never even went to see it. He liked the big shiny red blazer. So I let him just get it.
I've always kind of wished id have at least talked him into looking at it.
But then I'd have found an entirely different forum, so I'm glad I didn't lol.

Ole CJ-7 still on the road - don’t understand the “YJ” print on the side though ? Maybe it’s part of that whole “Jeep thing” that nobody else gets…or it could be that this individual is infected with the Jeep thing virus doesn’t know the difference from CJ’s & YJ’s.

The Plymouth was just in the same parking lot as the Jeep so I figured someone would like it - it did not flip my skirt up at all.
