We welcome premium synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple as a contributor to the project. We will be using Synchromax manual transmission fluid to increases transmission performance. It improves shifting, reduces gear noise and increases power transfer to the wheels. It also lowers operating temperatures and provides outstanding wear protection for longer transmission life.

It provides excellent corrosion and oxidation protection without affecting the soft metals commonly found in manual transmission synchronizers.

Synchromax is formulated with Royal Purple’s proprietary Synerlec technology for unsurpassed performance and protection.

We will be using Max Gear high performance automotive gear oil to provide maximum protection to gears while maximizing power throughout the drive train. Max Gear outperforms ordinary gear oils by combining the highest quality synthetic oils with Royal Purple’s proprietary Synerlec additive technology.

Max Gear makes gears run smoother, quieter, cooler and longer without overhauls. Max Gear is formulated with a friction modifier additive – no additional additives are necessary.

So to review why we have chosen Royal Purple in Late Night fashion...

I think I'm retarded! :doah:
Didn't know the sub was a standard! Was the movie rig too?

Good luck getting her done! :thumb: Looks great so far! :waytogo:

Lawrence I just saw that you have auto hubs.

I have a set of super winch hubs or warn standards I could box up and send if you want.

That was the first thing I did to the truck when I got it back for the heart transplant! I have a nice set of slightly used auto hubs that I will be happy to give you! :haha:

I thought of that guy from Germany that needed them a while ago. If I had his address I would box them and surprise him with another set.

Alright good deal :waytogo: Just trying to help when I can

OK so here is what I managed to get done today. Straighten the top edge of grill trim where it was bent out of shape. I worked on trying to get the grill taken apart to repaint it argent and do the center insert black. Broke one mounting post off turn signal. Got one half center insert off. The other one no joy on getting the nuts to back off. Did not want to have to spend $90 on another grill so I gave up. I'll try to mask off and cover things and paint it.

Cut and mounted light bar (almost cut it to short) it says measure the distance between the ends of the outer parts then add two inches. Subtract that from 56 inches and divide the number in half. I say now add two and 3/4 inches better to be longer than to SHORT!

Put the lights on bar and mounted it up on top. They will need to be wired and adjusted. Need some one like Adam with his skinny butt to get up there! I left the protective coverings on the lights to keep them nice.

The LF door lock rod was missing so I had to troll for that in door. Found it and the plastic clip was broke (adds to list for O'Reillys). Got the license plate light back on and noticed I need to paint the back side of the rear brakes better. Also need to get some under coating on the areas behind rear wheels to prevent rust starting.

I got the Luby Chevrolet name badge back on after polishing it. Cleaned up some tape that the hired help missed. And my butt is dragging. Oh and I did all this after I mailed the last of the shirt orders off.

Well I learned a lesson today too. I need to inspect toys better when they arrive! The lights have a different switch in the 6x9s.

I need to call summit on Monday and order some Pro Comp switches.

Well wasted day today got the headlight bezels painted and the top chrome trimm above the grill on. We had rain 97% of the day here so I got nothing done except for wrestling with the replacement grill trim.

I am letting LMC know that they need to improve the quality of the item. It is not formed correctly. The inner lips that hold the clips is to narrow (the clips pop out). The other thing is they ship plastic ones that have the holding nuts that are not 3/8 as factory and both my craftsmen metrics had problems (10 mm to small, 11 mm was to sloppy just gripped the corner when turning).

I had fitment problems before on Blackie with the trim not holding down. So on their after market grill trim I am not happy. Now their body side moldings in pre cut kit look like factory. We will have to see how they hold up.

I have been praying and trying to figure out how to finish the tires off. I put it in the Lords hands Thursday night and said if it is meant to be he will provide for the tires.

This morning I got a surprise! The Easter Bunny :bow: left a large egg :eek1: in my PayPal. So the goal was $960 to get the tires I had $445 and with the Easter egg we are now at $845. It seems as if the Easter Bunny is trying to put Santa and his helpers in second place.

With 30 days before I have to head to Eric's house; to finish the front brush guard for the trip to Wallace there is hope on having the tires.

:whistle::whistle::whistle:

Seriously, the 'burb is looking great! You know it's going to be a hit, don't you? I'm sure it will be famous before long...

Got my shirt today, looks great and fully covers unsightly back hair

:haha::haha:

I had mine sent to Eric's place as I was intending to show up at Wallace unannounced. However, my truck burnt to the ground with my passport inside it and there is no way I'll be getting my replacement in time :(

I'll have to get it from Eric in September when we both go to Blazer Bash

Too bad you don't live along our southern border, thousands of people come here every week without a passport:dunno:
