The lady and her daughter both came out with coffee cups when I pulled up in front of their store. The lady was an extra in the bridge scene and was pregnant with her daughter when it was filmed. They took several pictures for their facebook page.

'Dante's Peak' SUV returns to Wallace
Close to 20 years after its filming, “Dante's Peak” still resonates with people in Wallace and around the country.
Saturday at Wallace's 29th annual Depot Days, Lawrence Carlock of ColoradoK5 unveiled a replica of the 1988 Chevrolet V10 Suburban that Pierce Brosnan drove in the film.
“We wanted to keep the truck alive and keep things going,” Carlock said. “Part of that was to acknowledge Wallace, and we wanted the premier of the truck to be here, and here we are.
“This movie has affected a lot of people in a lot of ways. They remember it, the truck, the water crossing. Every person has a little something different that they've taken away from it.”
Carlock said the group has been working on the truck for a little more than a year to have it ready for the festival.
