OFFICIAL* Dante's Peak Suburban Build *

I could send the air pump I have. Not sure of the condition but it looks okay FWIW.

Hey guys, I'm making some progress on this thing. I am looking for a couple things. 700 r4 harness, greg is supplying an auto ecm. Also the strut bars and mounts that go from bellhousing to engine.

I think that should about cover it

How long are those strut bars? Are they all the same? It's seems to me they had different lengths. I think I might have some laying around. Get the lengths and get back to me. Pretty sure I do not have the corresponding engine motor plates.

I'm not too sure how it mounts to the engine so maybe someone with a 700 can measure them?

They go to a bolt on the motor mount. At least on my 6.2 pretty sure most of that stuff is the same

Can someone make a post in the wanted section for me?

Looking for 700 harness out of tbi truck. Linkage from column to transmission including bracket on frame. Those strut rods and mounts. Thanks!

So status update to this point, engine and trans are installed. Need to time the engine (I work on class 8 trucks and construction equipment for a living so I have yet to buy a timing light). Then install the various parts I need and figure out wiring on the 700r4.

If the engine is in its going to be a pain to install the plates for the strut rods. The plates sandwich in between engine and mount. You can do it but its a pain in the neck.

At this point I don't have a choice. Hopefully I can get the plates and rods. I want this thing to be right when it leaves

damn, I brought extra rods and a T-case rod to BB, nobody took them so in the dumpster they went :( damn

It's going to take me two weeks to get back to the farm to check if I have strut rods and plates. FYI.

I found a set of plates and rods, I believe that I took them off a 350/ 4l80e. They should be correct? I don't know if I have the shifter parts, I will look today.
