which means.. TRASH.
As you can see, I have neither A/C nor my own washing machine...

I saw yours was herculined... I've already taken the carpet off the wheel wells and yes, plan to ditch the carpet all together eventually. The only reason I left it for now is that I'm not really ready to pull out the front seats as well and coat it all just yet.
I assume you don't have drain holes- do you find that water pools up in the cab? We get these torrential storms here in TX that are like 3-4 inches at a time and I find I have to park on an angle to let the water roll out, unlike my jeep that has drains and just does it on its own...
Also, and sorry for the barrage, but you're doing exactly what I had planned- right down to the roll bar in back- I'm a little concerned about the electronics and stuff getting soaked. My jeep weathers it well but the K5 seems a little iffy. Any thoughts?
Another concern I have with not having carpets is the texas heat... I don't really want to line it white but black would really be a bear in the summer. You wouldn't even be able to touch it...

). I get a little water pooling on the front floor after a rain. I just find something to drive on that will raise one side (like a curb), then open the door and watch what little water is there run out. Really an insignificant amount. If you are concerned you could always buy some small rubber plugs at the hardware store and just drill a hole in the low spot.
