454 swap (don't cry to me about how an LS swap is sooo much greater lol) I chose a classic 454 because it was a dream I had since I seen my first big block.
thanks man I appreciate the kind words.Damn that's no joke, nice work so far

Yeah that's an MTVR my other daily driver Haha and yeah I'm active duty USMC. Any questions are welcome, I'll be posting new engine pics soon she's finally running!!I see a military truck in the one pic. That's neat to see with a K5. Does that mean that you are active?
And a young guy with 2 squares in the pics, COOL!
And I wouldn't mind hearing more about the plans for this truck.

Yeah the trailer break needs some work my dog chewed the wires back in high school and I didn't know Jack about anything at that point haha.It has a trailer brake controller.
Nice.
Someone set a leaky battery on the passenger floor at some point in it's life.
You have done a thorough job of cleaning it out and coating it.
I am excited about this build.
Thanks, and if you decide to get that system for a big block in the future you'll probably enjoy it. Do you have any advice as far as what to specifically monitor on the pro flo system? That's quite an update!!
I have a Proflo 4 on my little 350. So far I like it as well! I want one for my fat block some day.
I would say just drive it and check the long term fuel trim once in a while. I believe that I may have to change my base map as mine LT is close to 20 and can go higher at times. I haven't confirmed this with Edelbrock, it's just my suspicion. Pete at Edelbrock recommends just don't look at the tablet and drive for a couple hundred miles, then if it isn't doing great, go look.. Thanks for the advice, I been monitoring the LT fueln trim an it's back and forth between 15 an 26. It got less than 50 miles on it now tho so I'll give it some time and go from thereI would say just drive it and check the long term fuel trim once in a while. I now don't worry about watching anything most of the time, and often don't even open the display on my phone or tablet.
I'll try an find it here ina while. I'm sure there's some good info in thereThere is a thread in the Injection section where some of us have been discussing the Edelbrock system. It would be cool if you would post up with yours in there too.
Hey man if you wouldn't mind posting the link to that thread that'd be awesome, I can't find a search on this website. There is a thread in the Injection section where some of us have been discussing the Edelbrock system. It would be cool if you would post up with yours in there too.
