Old Iron 2.0

I wouldn't be either. Gotta do something wrong for anyone to care. And you don't strike me as a fella with piss poor judgement...

Saw this on post today and it put some ideas in my head...

Parked my truck in the overflow parking lot across from my new place and when I was driving through the neighborhood I got some dirty looks, the Tennessee plate probably didn't help lol.

I've got something for them though, when I fire up one of those LS's on a run stand with open headers at 0600 on a Saturday.

Lets not kid ourselves here...

Dirty looks come from #smashed a$$...

Lol

Besides, just wave and smile, and most people will just feel like an ass hat for giving a crusty

Ah, you're the one that tagged it? Lol.

True, f*** what they think though. When they're 2wd Prius' are stuck this winter and I roll by I'm gonna be the one giving dirty looks.

And that truck above is so stinkin' stock...

Bolt on city.

Too bad that they used that grill guard "thing".

When you are driving crusty stuff, getting a crusty look is a badge of honor.

I liked getting looks like that in my 75. It gives you the freedom to park where ever you want.

I like the flat bed, it looks well executed. I don't like how big the rectangular tube is, looks like 2x4. Would have looked better with 2x3.

Still had 1/2 ton axles under it. The mud flaps are pretty gay and the hitch receiver gives it horrible departure angle.

Thought it was cool because somebody out some time into it.

Saw a few K5's too.

On another note the truck runs pretty good at this elevation. Can't really tell any difference from when it was at sea level.

I don't know if that is because the engine is old and tired or what.

Where did you go shooting at? Gold Camp Rd?

I'm betting the power isn't enough to be noticeable from the difference in altitude. You might put a timing light back on it and give it a couple degrees more, but if it seems like it's ok leave it be.

I couldn't remember how to get to Gold Camp... I've been up there at least 15 times.

Somehow I ended up on Old Stage and waited for the no shooting signs to die off, the pile of shells on the side of the road gave me the thumbs up.

Once my timing light comes in with my household goods I'll hook it up.

I believe I found a 220v outlet in my garage. That would be awesome if it is. Can anyone verify?

I've only ever been able to run my welder on 110 and it's a multi voltage welder so I can run it on 220 also.

I just swapped my auto insurance over to CO and it just about doubled... pretty sad about that.

You can thank the hordes of uninsured motorists around here. I think the Springs itself is part of the insurance problem. Paradise has it's price you know...

We used to have a pressure washer at my old work that had a goofy plug like that. It was 110 but goofy so you could only plug it in where it was supposed to be, I'm guessing cuz of the amp draw and that the circuit was setup to handle it.
