Well. Crap.
I’m out on BB18. Got a very good opportunity at work - new role opening up - and I've been asked to interview for it. Those dates will conflict with the travel days required to get to Moab, and I have to start prepping for that whole process now. As @Spork929 told me, “the art of paying for the toys comes before the toys themselves.”
I hate that I’ll miss out this year, but I can't pass on the chance to level up. Y’all have a great time, and I’ll follow along from here.
Cabin 56 is now available at Moab Rim RV Park from 9/6 - 9/9.

Thanks man. Appreciate it.Damn.
But good luck upping the cashflow!
Don’t you worry. I’m an economic stimulus to anyone selling go-fast parts or metal fab tools. Here's hoping for cool new stuff!
Well sorry to hear/happy to hear
Same here. Hoping to make it for full-size invasion or something similar. Rubicon ‘19 is a bucket list item.
I’ve got to make the long term play here. WM&F is small; very small, and that’s okay. It’s the day job that keeps this whole thing moving forward, and the timing on the opportunity is just unfortunate.

Thank you. I’m gathering the data and building the growth plan. Should I land it, I’ll retain a majority of the flexibility I currently enjoy, and with slightly better funding. This opportunity to advance will likely open other opportunities to do fun stuff.
Good luck man.
Well said, and Moab isn’t going anywhere. Not unfortunate. Unfortunate timing is any time they don't ask...
Thanks. I’m going to make the most of my Blazer Bash absence.Congrats on the new opportunity.
Bad ****ing ass
I’m excited.Congrats! Sounds like a hell of an adventure. Excited to follow the progress and the run.
It’s at the end of October, running trails from Grand Junction to Moab to Vegas, eventually ending up at the SEMA show. Watch the 2017 series. They’re not running really gnarly trails, and it’s mostly about showing you can road trip, wheel, and have a good time. There’s only one trail that’s semi-technical, and it’s a dry creek bed/forest service road with lots of diff-grabbing rocks. Most of the rest is Moab Rim, Hells or Fins, and the moderate trails at sand hollow.I’m not familiar with the show, is this in November? Can you ram Jeep’s on the trail or is that frowned upon? Or maybe just drag them off the trail?
I’m exciting because the truck gets to work. It’s at its best hauling people and gear, and it will be good exposure for the shop.

Yep - no restrictions on displaying the shop name or logo; it just can’t physically conflict with the sponsor decal pack.Do they have rules about hanging Willomet signs on the sides of the truck?
Thanks man. You’ve added several details to your truck that I plan to emulate or outright copy - sliders, bumps, etc.Sounds a great opportunity for your business, goodluck and have fun.
Me too. Prep starts this weekend!Man, that is awesome!!! I can't wait to see this go down.
