Lookin good man! cant wait to see it out there tearin up the trail!

i like your red axle and how you went with gloss black instead of flat black.

i think a truck done all in gloss black with crimson red accents could look cool.

I know Jason has gloss black at home . Unsure if thats his decision for looks or what he had onhand .

the rest of the truggy in flat black was done by me for one reason , .96 cents a can at Lowes

Not sure, I just went to the end of the street and turned around, I couldn't even tell if it shifted. And I think I was in LOW.

some driveway flexin', since it isn't registered yet, and I don't have any money because of a crappy 2 months at work, I was itching. still no shocks yet.

So does Brian like to sneak into all of the pictures? :rotfl: I was wondering if that's the same can of beer as the pic of his truck.

yup, same can of beer, and same pile of tires, but we put one more tire up for a challenge for him.

I like the flex considering the state of progression it's in. It was even cooler to hear him drive it up and down the street :D

Get some 52s and a locker up front and try again!

well,I put a free 350 in, and got a temporary tag and have been driving it around some. Runs really good, so I took it down to work today to check the emissions, and it is failing miserably. I can't adjust it out, but I think it still has some rotten gas in it, so i'm gonna drive it around still and burn some gas through it. I am gonna try and take it out this weekend and get used to the handling of it, maybe.

I also picked up 4 35x12.50 r15 bfg all terrains off craigslist for $100. 1 was seperated, but 2 have really good tread, 1 is ok. THEY came with some 15x10 chrome spokes, that I am gonna throw back on craigslist and try to get my $100 bucks back, then I got free tires. They are probably gonna go on my p/u and the mudders on my p/u will go on the truggy.

i always like reading a good budget build :D

keep up the good work

also, can you edit your post to make the pics up and down instead of side to side; post number 21

you mind sending me some pics of your narrowed front end? just did my rear and thinking of doing the front wondering how diffacult it was and if lights are still functional as it is a DD thanks

I will get some pics of the front for you.

I finally went and took it out and did some wheeling. It was awesome, not worrying about body damage, and just trying the harder obstacles was fun.

Things I learned, when you pop a bead in a rock garden, and said tire is under water, there will probably be water inside said tire that you won't know about until about 45 mph on the main road.
Metal valve stems break, so carry spares.

My gas tank is thick, since apparently I came down on it, and it barely dented it, but it bent the frame rails up where it mounts.

I need to time it, and flush the coolant, and change the oil again.

Also I need to put a fan shroud on it.

It was a fun day, and the cheap truggy did awesome.
