funny you mention it, I just went and flexed it on my trailer with my new square driveshafts, and am sitting down to upload them.

So, did you go bombing down the street yet to see how much they vibrated at speed?

You know, I think I know of a way to make long-slip shafts that would be as rugged and inexpensive as square tube jobbies, but they would actually be balanceable. I might build one for my truck after the weather cools off, just to see how it works

You really CAN'T have it both ways , so why bother making nice stuff for a truck you won't wheel hard .

Build a buggy already mr tig welder dude :wink1:

Well, Got 56's installed front and rear, homemade Echobit style flip, made by Maxpf, and me, Need to get the rear shocks mounted, working on getting a roof installed, so that the AZ sun doesn't fry my brain anymore than it already has.
Also Got a set of Helmets for Driver and Passenger.

getting there man! I wonder how much sheet metal I would sacrifice if I tried to follow you guys in Moab..:hack:

Also, Just got a line on some 37" mtr's, 4340 superiors for the rear, detroit ez locker for the front, B+M floor shifter.

and I thought I was almost ready for Moab...

The locker in the D44 is probably wasted, and you will need to warranty at least 1 of those 37" MTR's out just FYI. The chromos should be in good shape though, and there is a stock 12b shaft bolted to the frame as a spare.

yup, but I got a locker in the D44 in my garage from alan's blazer.
And, do you know if I can get this tire warrantied without paperwork?

Looks like it should be very capable. Your going tomorrow and your on the net. I'd be triple checking everything like a chicken with my head cut off. I'm sure you got it down though. Bring some awesome pics and vids home.

Shhh! He's trying to save the visual update for Moab.

Oh, and this is CK5's disclaimer: pics don't do justice :p:

Kidding...:D

Bummer man! Was it a good trip though?

I might have some extra drive shaft parts around here want me to take a look?
