Here are some pics of the rear. I got the old one out and the new axle stripped of all the brackets. I am getting ready to roll it in and mock everything up. This thing is kickin my AZZ!

A few more.....getting the rear end stabbed. This is kicken my azz by myself! Thank god the hard part is done...all the mock up and measuring.

Thanks for the shop compliments. The axles are BRAND SPANKING NEW (NOS). The Burb currently has a 5.7 4l80e 241C. It is getting a big block and I havent decided on transfer case yet.

Where did you find the nos axles? What kind of cost are nos axles?
I got these from Memphis Equipment. I will have to look but I think they were $2,400. Im sure people here can get them cheaper....but I felt like I stole them when I opened the crates. They looked like they just came off the assembly line. I have gotten these before with new fronts but used rears. The rear end was new in this deal just like the front.
Well, I made some progress this weekend. Got the axles final welded, painted and installed.....along with an 8" skyjacker lift. I finally got it back down on all fours tonight so I could take my driveshaft measurements to get my shafts coming this week. Here are a few crappy cell phone pics.
