When I dropped the tranny off at the builder, I showed him the dyno sheet. He looked at it and said "uuuhh, I think we better put a 300M or vacumelt input shaft into this thing" He said the torque curve is like a diesel but it still makes 650hp. I think I am going to put the vacumelt intermediate shaft in it too.....that way, if I do put a 3.3L whipple on it.....the hard parts are there in the tranny. He was talking about how people roll in all the time with a 454 that they claim makes 800hp an so on.....that don't make 400 real world hp. He asked if he could keep a copy of the dyno sheet and build sheet and a picture of the motor so he could show most of the yokals what it really takes to make 650hp on pump gas and 700 ft lb of torque. I was like...I know.....I hear it all the time. Everybody I talk to has an uncle with a small block that makes 900hp with one 4 barrel....and on..and on...
Everytime I hear one of those story's......I just say wow! I wish I had something like that!

unbelieveable build buddy, that is one sick burb no doubt. kind of inspiring really. ya know, if you get bored, and just want something to work on, id be happy to loan you my truck and all the parts laying around sometime, feel free to spend as much money on it as you want

I have updates....the tranny is finished and sitting here in the shop. I have some other cool accys for the install. I will post pics later this evening. I have been working my azz off on the house so this project has slowed a little. I went to east tn and picked up my toyhauler and brought it home to live in while they rework the AC. Here it is backed in....all 53' of it. I've got direct HD tv, flatscreens and the AC chillin!!

First though that comes to my mind, "you cant pull that with the burb!" lol looks pretty darn sweet though! So im guessing your dog is "licensed" then? haha!

Here it is. 2007 LBZ Bigger turbo, Suncoast stage 5, AFE cold air MBRP duals, lift pumps, bigger pick up in the main tank, EGR delete, Edge with hot code unlocked. 98 gallon transfer flow aux tank that is computer controlled and keeps the stock tank full which is 34 gals so I have a 132 gal total capacity. I can pull the boat to destin and back and still have fuel and never stop to fill up. 19.5 alcoa 2 ton wheels with 16 ply michelins. Spearco bigger intercooler....and on and on....touch screen nav out of a denali back up cams on the gooseneck ball and trailer ball. I have a pop I can hit to drop the tailgate and a remote control for the hydraulic landing geat on the trailer. I can back in with limo tint...never crack a window...drop the gate....back in under the trailer and set it down on the truck and pick all the feet up....with everone in the campground looking around like what the fuk??
That is badass! I love it. Wish I could see the face of the people watching that! Very cool!

Last ones... Couple of weight tickets. I weighed the truck...then the truck and trailer. I have nearly 5,000#s of pin weight and it pulls the chit out of it. I go all up in the mountains and pull it down little 2 lane roads you can barely get a vw bug down. I just just turn the strobes on and let it roll when it gets tight. I have 6 95w alternating strobes like the popo in the truck and another set in the trailer. People will get out of the way when all that chit turns on...especially at night.
