Awesome toys!!!

Sorry to hear about your lady's diagnosis. My wife had a bad mammogram a few years back. Scary crap to go through for sure. Hopefully you get good news coming your!!
On the toys note: Watching an insurgent turn into a big ball of red dust from a .50 in the chest is pretty sweet.

I had the same issue with my 454 in my 81 Burb. Dented at the frame and hitting the shackle bolt. What kind of headers are those? I ran Headman ceramc coated. Coming together nicely otherwise!
how deep is that pan?
I need an assistant!Headman Ceramic Coated. So it still hit even with a standard deck height big block?
Great info. I'm looking at getting some headers. I'll be sure to stay away from Headman Ceramic Coated. I thought they made good stuff.

I don't know if you're running a body lift or not but you ever think about maybe getting new motor mounts fabbed to raise the engine up 1" and put spacers under the tranny/t-case mount to raise it an inch also? That should eliminate the headers rubbing the frame hopefully.I think that they would work perfect with mine if I had a 454. My 572 is about and inch wider and the motor being taller along with the raised exhast ports have compounded the problem. Sagging motor mounts, different lift springs, etc., etc. are all going to figure into if they fit right or not. Mine should be an easy fix. I am just done for the day.
