Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

I was thinking about you too man....how are you and yours and the K5 doing?

We are doing good. The K5 is good, needs a few bugs worked out. Been on a kick to replace all the LMC crap I bought when I started rebuilding it with NOS GM stuff.

Very nice.
Now I bet you want the rest of it painted.
How have you been?

I want it painted fir sure. I just don't the right paint guy for this project and I can't afford it right now. We bought a place down on the lake in Alabama and we have gone crazy doing the RV gig. Here are a couple of pics of the toy train from last weekend.

I know a few good paint guys when you get ready, but you would have to bring it to Texas.

Good.

Work was very busy this summer and now just trying to keep up with all the kids stuff. Hoping for some time on the K5 now that it is starting to cool off

Good to hear from you! The burb looks much more put together with the hood painted! Have fun with the new place and the RVing!

I appreciate it Teck. I would definitely use anyone that you recommended. I am at a point right now that I have so many irons in the fire that I really haven't made a decision on which way I am going to go with it. I have to admit that it is really nice to be able to throw the dogs in it and take off with the windows down and not worry about the interior or the paint getting scratched. Then I look at yours and it makes me want to do a frame off on it. Now that my wife has been doing better, I have taken a lot of weekends ( we havent missed many since we got it) to do the rv gig together. I love traveling around in it and I have as much fun driving it as I do camping. I have always wanted to drive a big rig (I know that sounds rediculous) and that is what the rv is. It has an 800 ci Mercedes turned up to around 550hp and 2,000 ft/lbs of torque with a 12 speed autoshift tranny. Since it is titled as an RV, I don't have to have a CDL. When we get where we are going....I constantly wash it or work on tricking it out....adding chrome....polishing aluminium. ..etc..etc. The only downside with doing the RV lifestyle on weekends (Since I work full time and I am along way from retirement) is that my projects do not progress at all. Right now, if my wife feels up to getting out of the house after being inside all week...we are going to continue doing the RV thing. I will get back up on the burb when the time is right. I am definately going to rework the fuel system this winter.

Max02, Slapperbar, Y5, its good to hear from you guys too. I have been poking around on the site to try to get semi caught up on what is going on. I actually got back in here when I ordered my Calendar for next year.
