Piecing together a full vert! (This Blows)

Great Work!

Do you plan on parting with that other full vert A pillar frame? I am in need of one.

Let me know.

Thanks

I wish I had the money and abilities to do my truck the right way. I'm going to be jealous of this truck. Great job:waytogo: Not too far from me either.

Not much progress on the K5, was in Montana last week. Went out there with a girlfriend and came back with a Fiancee. The good thing is she wants the truck done before getting hitched.

jekquistk5 I put it up on Craigslist not much bites so far. Send me a PM, would love to get rid of it.

Max_02 It is nice not having to work on a rust bucket for a change. I was a little worried about just starting with a bucket but it is like starting with a fresh canvas.

TREA18 From the looks of your blazer you have a lot of talent that thing is nice! We will have to have a midwest meetup once I get this hunk of metal rolling.

Oh..I don't know if you noticed the wheelchair lift so, my truck repair abilities are limited, and don't deserve any credit. I had a lot of ideas and the right people around me to help out, but there was some short cuts that were taken that I wish I could do right. Maybe I'll get some of them taken care of, but I don't want it tore down when I can drive it.

Keep up the good work and congratulations. :waytogo:

Thank you!

Being an enthusiast and having the ideas is admirable. It would be nice to be able to drive mine, there has been a bunch of times this summer I wished I could have taken the blazer somewhere.

Looks nice!

Your first day kinda reminds me of my K10 build thread. From rustbucket to shiny paint in just one day.

Lookin' forward to seeing what you come up with.

This is a great idea. We enjoy traveling throughout the Northwoods, so we might end up randomly in your area at some point in the future (as we have at points in the past). Would be fun to see this in person. :)

And congrats... :thumb:

Thank you! I'm hoping to get some progress pictures up soon. That would be fun and it looks like you put a lot of great work into your trucks!

Didn't get as much done as I wanted to this weekend but made some progress. Did some fixing of frame repairs. Next is to weld on the steering brace and cut off the front body mounts and spring hangers. I ordered the DIY4x A-bomb :woot: and need to get ready for its arrival. After that's in I'm going to get a new engine cross member.
Here is a before and after
