Pigeon-Rat - Opel gambler build

1966 Opel rekord mounted to 1990 Nissan pathfinder.
I like that you started your sketch on the origin. Too many beginners just start drawing out in the middle of nowhere. Ideally, you will get all your sketch geometry fully defined. I would also not include the 3/4" holes in your first sketch as a general practice, add those as features after the base geometry so they are easier to edit as individual features. It is less critical on these simple parts, but the more complex you get, the more of a pain it is to put everything in one sketch when you start making adjustments later.
Thanks for the tips. I'll take any I can get.

afa starting on the origin goes, it's an ocd thing for me. :)

I got 1 swinger bracket done and swinger hung:

I had to notch the frame for the other swinger:

I also need to create a new swinger for this side with a slightly bigger offset. I'm hoping that the swingers being a little different shapes won't effect to much, so long as they are still the same length. I guess we'll find out together. :dunno:

As long as the imaginary line from mount to axle is the same length you will be fine, no bump steer on a jump
