Project 82 TCBF -10.13.9 - progress!!!

Well, looks like I`ll be going into work sunday, so todays the day to get some junk done. Its alright though, it looks like it`s going to rain anyways. I`ll end up sitting in the vault all day surfin CK5 :D

So, I`ll head out in about 15 minutes, and start by putting the crank pulley on, and putting the harmonic balancer bolt in. Then, use the breaker bar to turn the motor over and adjust the rockers, put the valve covers on, put the rest of the pulleys on, starter in, tighten headers....the list goes on and on.

Here`s hoping for a productive day! :wink1:

Well, I finished the day frustraded with the P/S pump, doesn`t seem to be lined up right.

I did, however, get the rockers all adjusted, and the valve covers on with new gaskets, as the dizzy cap on :D

you're going to want to build a baffle around those vents or hang the vents upside down to prevent water from slashing up in there.

Although I don`t ever plan to get water up there , it`s better safe than sorry...have to come up with something.....any ideas?

Why don't you just mount them inside under the dash? If you get water under there, breathers is the least of your worrys :doah:

Well, sprung for a repo dash. Mine was in rough shape, as well as every other one I`ve seen around here..so

underneath it is the vinyl floor kit I bought a few weeks ago.

almost vroom, vroom time :D :D :D !!! looks great, on the breathers, inside would be easy, since you dont have the stock heater box inside you could mount them behind the glove box door (that way, somewhat easy access). just a thought. :waytogo:

Well, the weather is awesome out there today, sunny, a little warm. Unfortunately, I`m stuck with organizing my junk for half the day. I STILL have tools/parts everywhere, so it`s time to get it all together, and where it should be. The few hours spent doing it will be worth it when I start getting down to the nitty gritty on the build trying to finish it. I`ll suffer working out in the cold, but having to rumage through junk to find tools or parts will make it damn near unbearable. So, back outside I go! :D

make sure you take a vid of her being fired up for the first time! and while we are on the subject of gender associations, have you named her yet?

Oh, video for sure :wink1:

As for a name, nothing yet..
