I tried to get the knuckle off without a fork, but I think the rust is whats killing me.

soak everything in Pb'laster. walk away and drink enough beer to get you good and awnry. smack the daylights out of the side of the inner C's. the knuckle will fall off. do you have the right socket to take the upper C's taper out. spin that out and all you have to do is deal with the lower.

you need this. everyone with a 10 bolt or 44 should have one of these.

I haven't had alot of time to work on her. That and money is tight right now. going to Bloomsburg got me thinking, so I going to try to make time soon. I might be looking at a scout soon, but will not start building it till road kill is driving.

Trevor where you been man? You wheeling that thing yet?
nah hes not wheeling it yet, hes been busy swamped doing other things first..

I've been doing tons of other projects that needed to get done. Also my last day at work is Friday. Then I start my new job next week. I will be moving for the new job (next to old Paragon). So thats been taking up alot of time. I sold two quads (one more to go) and my enclosed trailer to get rid of what I don't need anymore. I'm also picking up my new '07 Sierra 2500 HD this week.

But I did get RoadKill runnin, and been kickin around some different ideas for it. My friends all want it to be wheelin soon, and said they will help. But I might go one of two different ways on it, so I stopped till I figured out what I wanted to do. Updates soon! I really want to start wheeling it.

Blue, 6.0, sunroof, leather, power rear window, navi system, tow mirrors, remote start, bose radio, z71, back up warning thing, and it is getting tinted 6 hours from the time i pick it up (5%). Also ordering the leveling kit, bed cover, and setting up the spray in bed linner.

Same as I do now (indust. Maintenance/ Electrical) but in a nicer, better place. I wish the old Paragon was still open, since the plant is down the road from it, and I will be movin down there soon.

oooh! a new body style truck, I'm jealous. the 6 speed should get you some better mileage. I have another 1 and a 1/2 years before I can get a new truck.

Whats up! I got that new job, so it's a hour each way. And hanging with a new chick, you all know how that is. Getting ready for snow, and had to help out some friends. So not too much time. I did get the pass Knuckle off so I can drill and tap it for the x-over. but need to get back on her soon. My friends are riddin my a$$ to get it done. Just need to put the brakes on, hubs, and steering.

OK I'm back on it! I'm picking up my free D60 this week. I ordered the single wheel hubs with rotors for it already. I put the rear disc brake brackets on yesterday, and the rotors for the rear will be here on monday. Lockers front and rear will be next to be ordered. I need to check what gears are in the D60. If they are better than the 3.73 I have, I'm allowed to take the gears and all out of the cab&chassis matching axel of the 60. Yea! getting pumped.

I needed to take some time off and enjoy other thing in life. That and the build is outside, so weather got to me also. And I got a new snowmobile, that took up most of my winter. But now I want this DONE (well driveable, never done).

So I'm getting back to kickin some @ss on it now. Would love to have it done for Blumsburg, but then would need a second driver.

Well today in the rain I went and cut the D60 out and tossed it in the back of the truck. Then just had to see what gears were in it. OOoooh yea 4.56s. So I need to go back soon to get the gears out of the matching axel. But going to put lockers in them. Forgot all about picking up the rear rotors till just now. But if it's raining tomorrow I'll get them when I get the new u-bolts made up.

don't forget the spring plates for the front.
I got them, don't worry.

I put the rotors and new lugs on the rear hubs, and that made me happy since I was able to put the hubs back on the truck for good. Then I put that fancy factory hand throttle my friend gave me in. The d44 was removed then the d60 slid into place. I'm going to push the front axel back another 1/2". It's sitting on the pins in the pic's.(edit: first I'll put the wieght of the K5 on it to see were it will really sit) I kind of like the dually look. If I didn't already have single wheel hubs coming them I'd space the rear and run H1's.
