We've got a guy locally that has an 05 3500 SRW Duramax running an 05+ super duty Dana 60 and suspension, basically has slightly modified the Ford brackets and welded them on.
 
I seen the mother lode build on pirate and it was a pretty impressive job, what a shame to see it wrecked tho.. Should come out awesome tho for you with the caddy body, perfect suspention. Also the dmax swap also in that frame..? Did i read all that right..?
 
I got a call from the seller and he told me that the transport truck didn't make it across the border before Friday and that he didn't expect it until later this week. Weather delays I guess.

Hopefully he is able to get it up here for this coming weekend instead.

LBZ turned out to be a classifieds scam. Dealing with the police right now. I imagine I'll be out my 1k deposit on the truck. I did a bunch of research and when I dug deep enough I discovered dude's real name and that he'd been in jail in 2011 for similar frauds.

Some folks just don't learn. I confronted him directly with his real name, address and parole officer's name and he told me he will send my money back lol. I'm sure his officer will be happy to know what he has been up to online.
 
Man, you've got a knack for people trying to screw you out of money. That sucks dude.
 
Which is the most unkarmic thing ever as he's more than once been the first to help many on here. If anyone has earned some good juju points it's him.

I'm used to it. Not even mad. I've filed a police report and there isn't much else I can do. Truth is, a classifieds scam like this one isn't always the easiest to spot. He definitely played a solid game and got me hook, line and sinker. I thought the price was low, but I've scored big time on similar deals in the past. Worth the risk.
 
WOW! Sorry to hear this. I wish I was ready for my cummins swap sooner. All the bugs with my 6.0 Max and 4L80E have been worked out so it would be a drop in.

Awesome, at least that part went good for you. Now get to work on the rest of the transformation, just stick with a 6.0..lol
