These were made for personal use. I do have all the info on assembling them. If I get enough interest I may offer them.
If I did offer them some welding will be required. and shipping would not be to pleasant. They are 68lbs a side.

That's what I figured but don't be surprised if some of your designs "accidentally" end up on my rig.......
Also, what's with the 1" x 1" or so at the pinch weld? Is that to provide crush protection or just for mounting?

The 1x1 is for mounting the slider to the pinch seam. Then two legs attach at the frame. The 1x1 is welded to the slider itself. the slider now prevents the seam from being crushed.

they look excellent on there, very well done Rob! the expanded sheetmetal actually looks really good. got any pics of the frame side? did the tabs just weld onto the frame or did you add some reinforcing?

The tabs are 1/4" thick I just welded them on straight. I will have more pics of these over the weekend.

Sliders go in next Tuesday for powder coating, so maybe in about two weeks I will have them done.

We got ahead on so many projects over the Christmas time off (thanks to the wife for all the help).
I also did some color and paint and prep testing this weekend on a spare fender as we are changing the color of the Mule. Some how the blue never went gloss leaving the paint open and its fading quick.
All wiring from the rack is now terminated at the engine compartment. AND THE ROOF RACK IS DONE!
We decided to start on the new rear bumper. I am going with the traditional box iron. This will add the strength I need for the dual swing outs.
I decided to remove the Class 3 hitch from the frame as we will not be pulling anything that heavy. I will be adding a hitch into the bumper to pull our trailer.

So I am going through the axles parts and in the process of getting a list of new parts I found out there is a bearing change around 1977 on the 3/4ton spindles. Here is the catch. I dont know what year the axle came out of.
Anyone know how I can go about finding what year of spindles I have so I get the right bearings?

Main bumper section is done. I just need to weld in the spindle shafts at the bottom and then start building the swing out arms.
