Got the second coat of Herculiner in and the roll cage...I need to cut off the front pads and re-weld them on flat, but we are almost there...

Lookin good man, with Herculiner its all about how much you prep it. Just dont ever drag your bare knee over it.It doesn't feel to good:doah:

That's funny, only becasue I did it last night on the shin...you are correct, it does not feel good...although it is very entertaining for the people around laughing and pointing...

noah, you have felt spray in bed liners like rhino and linex before, how does this stiff compare as far as hardness. is it real hard? just curious to know if this stuff is hard as a rock.

To be honest, so far it does not seem as hard as the sray on, but I am not sure if that is because a) I applied it incorrectly or b) it is not 100% cured...I will write a full on tech article on the corbeau seats and Herculiner once I am done in the hopesof getting that cool little icon next to my name.:D

OK, so the seats and harnesses are in, tied to the cage and we are ready to call this little adventrure done! Project new seats has now reached it's "after" phase....The first pic I posted was the "before" and now....:D

Sweet duder! looks good and now your ready to go wheeling, so as soon as I get back from Idaho lets go. Plus I should be able to pick up my recentered H1 rims on the way back down.

That looks great! Are you going to put the bench back in or some buckets?

So did the Hurculiner get harder as it cured some more? How many coats of that stuff can I expect to get with one gallon? I don't have a roll cage to cover, just the floorboards and inside bed sides. Worked out a deal with my neighbor...I gave him some nice seats for his s10 blazer and installed them---he gets me the gallon of black goop. Plan to get it all done in the next three weekends. (next weekend is a field problem:mad:   ). Really been looking forward to it to. I plan to put the carpet back in mine, however. Just want it for the rust protection.

I was able to get two coats, including tail gate with one gallon and had a little left. Yes, it gets harder as it cures...

Thanx for the reply. I plan to do the same to my tucks insides. Gonna put it over a thick coat of primer and then cover it with some new threads.
