By the time I am anywhere near building a set, you could be finished with your rig.

the guys around here building these tube jobs with the radiator in the rear are actually using the bottom tubes to route the water to the radiator in the rear. they block off the tubes and put a hose bung big enuff for the radiator hoses and run electric fans, they also coat the inside of the tube with some sort of supercoating to keep it from rusting from the inside out. looks neat compared to the ones i've seen with dedicated tubes run to the rear for the radiator, but not sure about how hot it gets the tube and if its close enuff to be touched and become a burn hazard. btw your rig is slowly coming together and looking good

what do you plan on doing with the factory q-jet off of that big caddy engine?

been told that some monster trucks run no radiator at all, just cycle the cooling through the frame:wink1:

day 4 and no pics...jeez, as for the radius arms, I know someone that put them/ford style on a jeep

yep most monster trucks dont run ANY type of cooling system. I asked one of them and they said its because they tear down the motors so much that the coolant just makes a big mess. They said they can run for about 4 minutes before they get to hot:eek1:

They also usually run alchohol motors which runs considerably cooler than a gas burner.

Never got around to it, parents left the 'stang in the garage and took the keys with 'em....I wonder why :D

The buggy is now going to be a 2 seater, I had a freak accident today and something really cool came out of it. Pics and SW model to follow.

The rear is gonna get linked as well. **** it, if I'm doing it, I'm doing it right.

Neither of the front spring bolts would budge when I was cutting off the frame this afternoon. I was moving them up and out of the way so I could move the rear axle and had one fall on my head (long story) So I threw a ratchet strap around them and my cage and cranked them up out of the way.

This is what took shape:

Really stupid that the shape of a ratchet strap and leaf springs prompted me to change the design, but hey, whatever works. 1/4 elliptical is now in the works and the rear end is gonna get a major redesign, SW model to follow.
