It's blue because it was previously in someone's race truck. He liked blue with copper powdercoat. See everything that's stock ugly on it was powdercoated and swapped stock stuff back on it before I took it. This engine has dynoed 1200fwhp already in its life, that's with cp3 pumps and 03 electronics. I'm Ppumping it with a 13mm p7100 for around 850cc of fuel at full boogie. The GT42 as a single will support 800hp with less than 850cc of fuel. I would guess the tq to be more in the range of 1600ftlbs at that hp level. The Ppump engines are fairly consistant at 2:1 ratio tq to hp. The vp44 24v are better at a 2.2ish : 1 ratio. I'm not really sure how the cp3 engines burn out.

Max right, well better...... Yes. Even though turbo charged, there is still no replacement for displacement. Don't let anyone tell ya different ;)

It's not just a stroked 5.9, bore and stroke are different. So a guy could get.into the 7L range he wanted to with it.

There's a reason superduties are top 3 most stolen truck. Without getting right into it. OEM doorhandles are a problem.

The block does look bigger then an older one, maybe it's the different exterior casting design :dunno: Can't wait to see it with the p pump and the twins

Hope the door handles help out, I am still amazed how easy that era super duty's are slim-jim, from working at a Ford dealer I could be into one in 10 seconds, of course to my dismay, my 11 Ram only took me 30seconds or so when I locked the keys in it a few weeks ago :doah:

There definately is exterior casting variations. Ribbing different bosses. It's currently sitting right beside my 12v in the garage. I can scope it when I get back home for good measure. But while guys are putting 6.7 cranks into 5.9 blocks. I'm pretty sure they jive. My pump will be shipping to pump master Seth at Diesel Performance Engineering in Savannah, MO. It'll get a disassemble and reseal, upgrade stock 12mm barrels&plungers to Bosch 13mm B&P. Bench set to 850cc, pin timing set 20*. Makings of a monster.

Well going back to duals. the front rim being out of round is too much to handle, I can't drive it anymore. The truck is going to shake itself apart.

This truck supply place in Calgary had a sale on. So they came home with me. new accuride 24.5s. Going to shave them. probably use Interco M16 40/13.50r24" will powdercoat them black. I always wanted a dually on 40s.

I thought you were done with the shaving the wheels thing.
Why not keep it on the cheaper commercial tires?

I just read it all.

You sir, are an inspiration.

Have you and ryoken ever considered building a truck together?....

Ever talked to someone with those M-16's under a heavy truck?

I've heard from a Cummins Ram guy that even his Load Range D or E (forget which but know they weren't C) were wearing faster than he liked. Seems like others agree.
They also remind me enough of the Thornturd that I would steer clear. More looks than function.

Grind down the outer bead lips on a heavy truck style rim so that a 24.5" wheel is now 24".

Not generally done with smaller truck rims.

Yes. I know guys with that tire. one guy has a set on his welding truck.

Truck will weigh 10,000lbs with a metric boatload of horsepower. Not expecting much from any tire. and they're way cheaper than any other in that size.

I disagree. I don't think they look like a thornbird at all. Just because they have side lugs? Ya I don't think so. get a couple pics of the treads side by side and get a look. You'll see.

Thanks, I usually go by "hey, you're crazy" or "why in the world would you want to do that?" :doah:

That would be a thing to behold.......
