Project OVERKILL - Ppump 24v Fummins swap started

What's the CFM on those?

On some quick and dirty Googling the model I have is a Haldex QE 296 E makes 13.5 cfm 100% duty cycle.

Applications N14 L10/M11 6B/6C via changing gear drive adapter.

Piggy backed PS pump is a straight up hydraulic gear pump. Internally regulated to 2205 psi.

good to know if you ever wana run hydro winch maybe

I know a guy who had a air leak and didn't care about it for more than 3 days . . . . . ih dt466 engine with engine drivin air . . . . comp started making funny sounds as boss walked by his running truck hissing away . . . . turned off pop hood and to hot to get hand near it .

well let cool and fixed the leak . . . . . still working just fine almost 1month later no bad noises . ha ha ha

Oh not big enough to run a winch. Well that's not accurate it will run a winch. But it would take FOREVER to get anywhere.

I have a single piston compressor on my 5.9 B series that is drive through, I have a vickors 6gpm pump hanging off the back side of it.

Dam, them are some nice lines!
looking good Luke!

I at a loss for why you had to pull the timing cover off. When I rebuilt my vacuum pump, the gear went though the accessory hole fine. Did you have to change the gear and had to tighten the nut?

No it's not necessary. Wanted to confirm the tooth engagement. My gear train was changed to use the Ppump. Just a precaution to see what's what.

Kind of interesting, I came upon a thread on Cummins forums about the air compressor swap and found out you must time the compressor.
The guy also had to swap the timing case and cover because the timing cover is a little different for strength.

Are you hoping the billet cover will strengthen the timing case for the extra load from the compressor, or you can't get a billet cover for air compressor case?

I've never heard either of those things before actually.

The billet cover does add a ton of rigidity to the front structure though.

Just having a hard time figuring out why a guy would say you have to time the air compressor gear.
