Project OVERKILL - Ppump 24v Fummins swap started

Ya I figure it's not something that everyone's doing. So I'll do it.

I am really leaning towards removing the bed for a more utility style flat deck / chase truck box. The rig that Paul built for his 3+3 really peaked my interest in going that way. I do not like standard plain flat decks. Never wanted that. But something more functional. Ya maybe I'll get someone who can draw and design to lay something out for me

gonna make Mutt look like it's wearing skinny jeans from behind! :haha:

Lol. Something like that.

I figure anyone can slap big tires on just about anything. But dualling big rubber is something you don't see everyday. I've been running 37" duals for a long time. It's just time to set up the game.

Ironically there was recently a post on a newer GM forum I frequent now where a guy wondered if he could make these fit under his 07-13 Silverado...1500.

His only concern was, "how much lift?"

You have second mount for the primary? I have read it is a problem to have all the weight of two turbos on the manifold. I know this is mostly a big problem for 12 valves with the extended exhaust ports which are weak.

I did it on my first 24v engine. On the stock manifold. Never had a cracking issue.

My first and second set actually. Was strictly hung with the hot pipe. It was made from sched 80 iirc. Hung all the weight off the Hx40 flange. That's was a HT4C first and an HT3B second.

This one will have a laser cut 3/8" plate between the foot mounts. Plus a lower strut to the block.

Oh cool, you are putting a sump kit in. I've noticed you have the mechanical lift pump on the engine. I have heard of mention of 1/4 tank issue and I assume certain lift pumps couldn't suck when the tank reaches 1/4 till empty.
BTW, what turbos are you using?
