Project Penny - All good things must come to an end

Well, this would probably be the coolest Tahoe I've ever seen if you do that... not that it isn't already lol

400k combined income? Not bad for guys in a trailer with a D60 carrier and ring gear growing in the flower pot out front!

Russell, I would be totally blown away by the complexity of a Dmax swap....so if you do, details of the swap to the hilt please, then maybe I could consider it for BART.

Sweet.

I think there would be very little in common with swapping it into bart, and swapping it into a 25 year newer rig that already has a diesel in it.

Actually, the wiring is of little concern to me... That is honestly the easy part of the swap! The difficult part will be getting all that stuff shoehorned in, haha

I wish i had those thoughts! Making my 5.3 swap work and look factory has me a bit nervous! Couldnt imagine a Duramax swap!!!

Wait, are you serious? THIS harness costs $1200? Whats so special about it that im missing?

This will be the sh#t!!

Are you going to do the injectors before you but it in, or just do a check on them and run it?

What trans are you going to use in it.

Russel, I cant wait to watch the rest of this build!

oldtoyboyd, Thanks for that link! It was a fun read!

I guess that harness saves time, if I was doing for a customer I would use that. But myself I would prob modify a stock.one

It's more for those people that dont have the skill set to do it themselves
there is also a few things that need to be done to the ECM as well to make it standalone its not just a harness mod

awe Jeez Gus, I wonder how would that work with a 76 harness, no computer, PCM, pedal harness, etc???

Sorry for the hi-jack Russell.

It works on 70 chev pickups and 70 70 chevelles I'm sure it would work just fine on your 76 :D Just Imagine having 400hp and 900 ft/lbs and getting 20 Mpg ......................
