Got my paint stripping wheels from Roark supply. Going to be picking up some steel this week to brace the tub then it's sawzall time :). The primer I ordered should be in on Tuesday.

Done reading Ryokens guide. This will not be a show truck by any means but it will have a decent paint job on it. Going with House of Kolors Cobalt blue

Did the old rig with a HF spray gun and it turned out okay. It was a single stage job though.

Anyways I went to my dads picked up the somewhat rolling chasis. With come clever ratchet strapping I was able to lock down the rear axle and get her up and onto the trailer. The frame is in worse shape than I thought though. Going to start blasting and stripping the frame and see how bad it is. The problem spot is the middle of the frame under the body mounts. I could repair it but I fear if there is one spot, there is probably going to be more. Kinda bummed about the frame but I guess Its only metal and I have a welder.

The core support is from a 89. I would like to go with an an early 80's front though. The 89 front clip is overrated. I want to keep it simple with sealed beams etc. I really liked the front of my 83

HOK, has some real nice products to work with, (expensive too)
I painted my bike with their Kandy Tangerine and Orion Silver, and its prob the best paint I've sprayed with....
