Project "RESPAWN" - 1972 K5 Blazer

Cool stuff here!
Seems standard issue to me...

My 79 did that before I forced a change, and my 2000 S-10 does it too
That's stock behavior?

Maybe you never noticed before?
Yep, never noticed I guess, the rear side marker doesn't blink with rear turn signal so thought it was strange that the front was different. :dunno:

Yup, that's how they do! I figured it out years ago when I wanted my old '68 to have functional side lights like my Dad's '72. They are wired to the marker AND turn signal circuits.

Just picked up a nice set of black rear seat belts. :saweet:

I know I see a lot of tailgates that don't line up perfect but would like to get the left side of mine better, any tips?

There isn't enough room in the bolt holes to move it up?
After it goes up, I think a little in with the latch plate.

Haven't really looked at it yet, just looking for suggestions before I tear into it.

Ahh, well I loosen the upper bolt on the pivots, the close the gate. Then loosen the lower bolt, move the gate where it's close.
Tighten the lower bolt and if things stay where you want, open the gate and tighten the upper bolt.
The latch plate may have to move to get the gate where you want too.
But you may have to find a "good enough" spot, no telling until you play with it.

Wow, sanded the passenger side floor in front of the front seat, thought it was just black paint... when I took a disc to the floor it smelled like dirty diapers or something, appears that one of the PO's sprayed some kind of rattle can rust proofing or bed liner maybe? I will probably will get lung cancer now but the floor looks good after sanding and painting.

We would say "nice work" ....
But I don't see any pictures!!!!

Yeah, I forgot, I will get a pic after I sand down and paint the kick panels. One of the PO's was very liberal with the glue when he glued felt to the kick panels, fricken people!
