Project Snow Bear K20!

I think @sreidmx is running these.

I've never done the Chevy ones but the autofab Ford ones make using the stock inner fender hard. Much easier just to fab your own inner fenderwells.

But that's not Chevy ones, like I said pretty sure Steve has these
Yea I got them, not sure if the version you are looking at has the edge on them or not. I believe there are 3 different autofab fenders. Super good quality btw. But if they’re the momo version they are a huge flare and fit my 90inch track width. 74wms

These do have a lip on the inside for mounting to the stock inner fender according to the other pics he sent me.

Your 60 should be 3" wider than a normal Chevy front my 37x12.5s barely stick out. I think you'll be fine!

I dig those

I think so too. The aluminum wheels I found are stock Superduty back spacing so they are deep! Still going to end up wider than the stock fenders. These should cover them nicely. Montana is one of those states that gets a bug up their butt about tire coverage, especially on the back. We have so many gravel roads it's a strict rule about mud flaps here. Sort of funny as you rarely see a windshield here that isn't cracked from a rock on the roads. In the winter they put down sand that has rock in it for traction....hence cracked windshields. We call them Montana windshields.

If your running stock super duty wheels you'll likely only be an inch or so wider.

My 37x12.50 on my Jimmy and my buddies bronco II on 39.5x13.50 on the same axle you have both just barely fit on my buddies trailer with side rails. He rubs just a touch more than me but not by much.

You'll definitely be covered up

Body lines baby. Those rule!
This whole truck is getting hosed with Military CARC 383 green that I have been saving for a cool project. Actually the alkyloy primer/base and then the CARC. I want this truck to be impervious to normal wear and tear

So in the meantime, Her's what I am contemplating:

Rock rings vs bead locks for the aluminum wheels
Rock sliders to protect the saddle tanks

I like the aluminum 17" wheels that I have for the truck but I know they need some more protection from bending on the lip. Rock rings would be easier. Just get a set sent in and weld them in. Bead locks, I'm not so sure about as I've run a BUNCH of sets and never had a set that held air for crap.

Rock sliders: should be easy enough to fab up. Just something simple with 2x2 square on bolt on flanges to the frame behind the front fender/body mount and run them back past the tank to the rear spring hanger mount area. Sheeted with 1/8"steel and done. I'll remove the skid plates from the tanks and suck them up as tight as I can to the tank bottom. This is a "Just in case" type of thing as I'm not planning to do any hardcore wheeling. it would just be nice to have a jack or winch point on the side of the truck. With the bed and soon the cab removed it will be really easy to get to them now.

So apparently we had a lot of wind and now my phone and internet are out. Lucky we still have power I guess. Worst part is we are out at the end of the line and remote. Couple that with heavy snow fall and sub zero temps. Might be a while before they are back up.

That's how it always starts...

Sounds like you might need to find a set of Tracks for it if your winter keeps up.
We have had to go down the mountain on the snow mobile for a couple weeks before. This isn't really bad. It just all decided to show up at once.
