That's only def ( diesel exhaust fluid) though. It's urea. It has egr for sure though. Egr is Totally independent of def. That's my point engines that only use egr. Push anywhere between 30-60% exhaust gas back into the intake to meet emissions.
Engines that also use DEF, push only 5-15% exhaust back into the intake. Def is an after treatment of the exhaust gas, it doesn't try to choke the engine down to create less emissions gasses. the engines are healthier with more def and less egr.
Or wait a while until deletes are availiable. And fix them permanently.
