@Blue85 you're probably correct. I haven't investigated further. Yes, I made the title of this thread in error and have now fixed that.

Edit: according to ORD they should fit. I had no luck getting them to look correct when tightening them down. I tried everything @Wes Harden suggested.

@Chickntrk I tried that to no avail. I was able to get the lower portion out first. Still the pitman portion wouldn't budge. Got the puller on there and it finally popped loose.

Maybe sometimes, certainly not all times. I doubt it's even the majority.

I have never had one not come out yet, and that’s 18 years of heavy trucks and cars alike.

Bro, I did the whole dance, wouldn't budge . Now, I may have not hit it hard enough out of inexperience and or fear of breaking something. I did eventually get it out. Next time won't be such a struggle. The ORD boots were a waste of money I will add.

Always works for me 40+ years now. BMFH never fails. Picture the ass hat face that pissed you off on the part and have at it.

Hit it like it owes you money. They can be a pain and I get where you're coming from, especially doing it your first time. Next time don't be afraid and smack the hell out of that thing

Test drove it today, steering felt much tighter.
