I have some wire like that that came in a trailer wiring kit. Absolute garbage that corrodes easy and I've had break on my trailer 2-3 times.
Pulled it off and got a good kit.
And for some reason, saved some of it for temporary jumpers and such :doah:
In fact, it's this green and brown stuff that I've been using to temporarily run the fun button in my burb, for a year :whistle:lol.
It's coming out while the fenders are off and it's easier to get in there :waytogo:Screenshot_20251214-080243.png
 
quick search says it's copper coated aluminum
Yeah I didn't know it was thing until I went to buy jumper cables and found really cheap ones at harbor freight and they also had some more expensive ones for the same size.
I stopped and started reading everything on the packaging of both, then grabbed the boxes and the weight difference was obvious.
I ended buying the more expensive copper cables
