AJM pretty much nailed it. We can have full on AR's as long as they have a bullet button. A BB replaces the mag release button to where it takes a pointy tool pressed into a very small hole to release the mag. A ball point pen, nail, and a .223 round works just fine as the tool. With this feature in place, the gun is legally considered a "fixed" magazine weapon. You can basically do whatever you want with a fixed magazine gun. As far as the mag, as AJM said, it's a 10, looks like a 30. No matter what gun, or configuration, it is illegal to have a capacity of more than 10 rounds. Is that gun legal in California???

Sure, rub it in....I gotcha. We don't have those kind of restrictions here. I have 30, 40, 50, and even a 75 round (it's a piece of ****) mags for my AK-47, and everyone I know with an AR-15 has 30 or 40 round magazines.

you should make a custom matching mount for it!!!!! that would be sick! wrap it in matching black leather. just sayinK5's are cool, guns are cool, so why not?![]()

On a topless K5? I don't mind attracting some attention, but not the black & white with the fancy light on top type of attention.you should make a custom matching mount for it!!!!! that would be sick! wrap it in matching black leather. just sayin![]()
