Appreciate that! Even if you were close by, it'd be tough to pull it off in a reasonable time frame right now.

Kert, any updates on the through the dash K5 cage?

Scott

Sorry, won't be able to get to it for a while. What year blazer you working on?

And on a side note, I think our video is a bust. For whatever reason the footage locks up my computer. I'm gona try and save it but its not looking good.

I'm working on a '88 K5 and I eventually want a cage similar to what the UAV had back when it still had a body on it. I'm hoping your K5 cages will be similar to that.

I'll prepay for a through the dash kit for an 85 blazer and family cage if that will help with the process.

Unfortunately, throwing cash at it, in this instance, won't change much.

It's comin' though.

Kert, any hints as to the general shape of the rear of the K5 cage? How far back will it reach?

No worries Kert, from my own small businesses experience its either time or money that delays projects, thought if it was the first one, i would offer to make it easier.

The base kit will be just the front cab 4 point. I'll let you guys weigh in on the add on family cage. We're amenable.

You forgot one, Space!

Shop is pretty full these days. Of the three, space and time are the two culprits that keep us banging our heads against the wall. If we had those two, more than likely it'd be the third. Ha!

We've turned out our first blazer cage. It's a through the dash model.

Here's the kicker, Guy that ordered it, simply would not take no for an answer. I did some comparison measuring between the pickup cab and blazer cab, did some figuring and made the adjustments. I have no idea how well its going to go together.

Hopefully I can get some feedback from him as to what needs to be adjusted.

Not much to take a picture of. It's a pile of tubing.

Just letting you guys know, we have something cookin' on the blazer cage. Not the full R and D work up though.
