Rolled my truck today. How do I fix my roof?

Glad to hear you are ok man. you might want to look at grabbing a front roof section from a pickup(saw one on ebay recently) or go Full Vert like others suggested. Also, check out rudedogII on you tube as he is going through the same time of incident on his Bronco(https://www.youtube.com/user/rudedogii) and he did all the hard work himself
 
So... everybody is ok... you have a lot of good repair suggestions... I think it's time...

Super interested in the cage design before and after roll over pics. I'd love to look at what did and didn't fail for reference so if I ever roll mine, the outcome will be just as good as yours. That is once you get over the "pain". Glad everyone is ok.
 
Wow, what a bummer. You know I'm right here in Ventura if any help is needed. Pick the part in Santa Paula probably has a top
that can be cut off.
 
Thanks guys. Feeing a little better now. First and foremost everyone is fine. Sore but fine. And it goes without saying. If you touch dirt get a rollcage. My hood didn't touch and therefore the engine and everything is fine. That is all because of the roll cage. We were spared some injuries because of it no doubt.

I want to fix the roof. Don't want to go full vert. The dents on the rear panel aren't that bad and will look better with some work. The camo print hides a ton. I am just gonna pull some doors and quarters and cut a roof I think.

Good to hear every ones okay....I bet the cage is going to fine, looks like the ground was pretty soft and it was a slow speed roll.. But I would check for twisting.
 
Weird I was out there also and didn't see ya, bummer man! It happens to the best of us, I've done it... at least your ok and it drove home.
The repair is likely to be a pain if the cap to cab junction is tweaked, I'm not a body guy so they can chime in..
 
yea, gonna run it down to a body shop this week and get some suggestions. I just want it to be water and wind tight.
 
I'd give you my half cab since I'm going full vert but shipping to cali would kill the deal.
 
There's a guy here in Fresno that has a whole Blazer body. He was looking to get rid of it very cheap. I'm not sure how much, but it may be worth it...His user name here is Chevy1TonFun. I'll send him a message and let him know you may be interested.

@FOR MUD the ground is not soft there. Dry lake bed that has been compacted for decades.

Just saying softer than rocks:D....At least it would more of a spread out of an impact ( Unless you land only on a corner first ) than if you landed on a rock here it would be constrained in one small area.

How far out of wack would a cage need to be, before you should replace? I know about individual bent bars being replaced, but what about a cage that has been racked?
 
That sucks, but that's why you have a cage, glad everyone is okay. You will look back at it someday and laugh about it. With that being said I have to comment on this first picture, looks like you tossed your cookies while doing a donut.
