so, I like my initial thought...... satin black handles, brackets and do the hardware in black ss too...


the right bracket/spring assembly is just a clean one to see how it looks with the silver bracket...

i also found out the spring latches all face one way on the brackets.. one is up, one is down, but when ya disassemble em, you can put em either way... ;)

I'd use duracoat and/or durabake on the latches. If it holds up to the friction and chemicals that gun slides encounter, it should hold up to a little rubbing and road grime.

ok, so you just spray it on with a prevail...... guess a 4 oz bottle would do 4 pins easy enough.. holy yit, that Twisted Silver is $55 for a 4 oz kit...
 
oh, and that divider ended up being fine just slid in there.. doesn't move at all... unfortunately the other 2 will require a tack of some sort...

tomorrow I'll wire brush the welds and Sharkhide it...

eh, trying.. i f*cked it up a couple times.. it still hurts daily, limp, etc... I technically was supposed to go back to work today.. tomorrow i file for my unenjoyment till mar 1 or 15.... so i get a bit more time to try and heal.. i go back to him in 4 months for a final check-in... i'm sure it'll be another nemesis for me, like my knees and back... thanks for asking mang. :)

Yeah it’s hard to take it easy especially when you want to get shit done. Try not to F it all up too bad!
When i broke my hand in the summer i didn’t do as i should have... still not right. Getting older sucks! Lol!

well, my fatarse finally broke the wood bar stool I had, so I had to switch my fab table to dwarven-mode and use this step stool....... ;) 1 hole from the lowest..

OMG, that freakin freebie TV weighs like 250 lb's.. no joke.... I had to roll it up/down my stairs end over end, and it still worked... i really need to upgrade upstairs and bring the 42" flat down there...

gonna have to get the neighbor to come help me again getting it down before i roll it into the dumpster... ;)


luv having Roku down there.... cranking youtube vids, skate vids, etc..

Watch that lifting!!! Yeah, I plan to upgrade this year, probably end of year, to 4K UHD and move the HDTV to the bedroom

eh, I already hurt it a couple times, but I'm trying... nah, I wouldn't mess with that for awhile.... I owe my arse right now... nothing gets bought until my debt is reduced... and a TV is about 2 hundy + eleventy on my priority list.... bills.. fuel tank.. cummins...

needs a good brushing, been slacking...

he's actually doing excellent these days... hasn't had any paw/ankle issues in 6 months... wants to eat like a freighttrain all the time... he's actually about to get cut back a bit, don't want him getting any bigger than he is right now.... ribs are about right...... he's about 100lb's I'd guess....

gonna be in for a rude awakening in march tho when i go back to work a bunch of OT and his 9 walks a day get cut down to 4.... ;)
