Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

alrighty, current purchase priority list....

1 - door felts, marker lights, etc...

2 - working on a cheap/free GMC grill gig too...

3 - TUBE!!! :woot: :grind: :saweet::weld::deal::pimp1:

So, does the duck symbolize something I missed or do you just plain like the duck? In my opinion it's one of those things that looks kind of cool, it looks tough too, menacing, but i would never put it on my own vehicle. Like the new bright green camaros, that color looks sweet but I would never buy it.

ever since I saw it in Death Proof, I thought it was cool... and with the direction of this build, square-bodied CC flatbed, I thought it might look kinda cool...

would I put one on a 70 Chevelle? no... obnoxious tubebed towrig, sure... :haha:

me likey the Sony so far... :D

added a bit of gray to the cigar and tail on Mutt... :pimp:

and built a base.. could have been just a tad bigger diameter, it was the holesaw I had.. I may redo it if I get bored one day...

but he's looking pretty cool and sits at a better angle now... :saweet:

working on some stabilizer mounting and speaker panels at the moment...

no, but it's work, if it was USPS, we don't get there every day.. :doah: I'll let ya know, thanks! actually those will come in handy as I need to do a bunch of cutting coming up...

thanks boys! it makes me smile every time I see it! :haha:

and if the rig wasn't a head turner before, it's getting there now!!! :doah: :pimp: wait till it has a crazy tubebed and amber lightbar on it.. :eek1:

I'm just waiting for the first person to say something, that actually knows what it is.... :haha:

think I'm gonna go downstairs and remount the bender to the floor.. fock yeah....

hope you got that duck on there but good! would hate to see that walk away on ya.

i'm not too concerned about it honestly... but i may down the road, put a tack weld on the end of the one stud..

it's pretty safe outside my house... and it's not like I leave it in a train station in Camden or something... I keep the cab locked, which means it's not easy to pop the hood... and the rig is literally 10' from me when I'm sleeping.. :haha:

some body say amber light bar ?
