didn't see those, i'll take a peak... anyone know how wide a tire i can go with stock dually rims? the truck has 235's on it now...
Oh I didn't tell you it has the second battery trat even though it's not a diesel?
But you know all 1 tons after 83 maybe even earlier had hydroboost.
So it's not a surprize there.
So other than electrical and no idea how you feel the mechanical is.
How is the body?
Was I accurate enough with my description?
hey bud.. yeah, the tanks are a bit voodoo at this point other than throwing 10 gals of fresh fuel in each.... and somewhat fixing that cut fill hose, x-overy set up to keep sh*t out... once the deck is on, i'll do a fill on both sides and ditch the tube..
and ok, cool, i'll check out the pumps, haven't even looked at either.... i did switch the dash switch at one point, but I'm not sure which position it was in.... i ran it a bunch tonight tho... not even sure what tanks it was off of... i don't know d*ck about dual tank systems.. first I've owned.. and I'll be ditching it by the end of the summer.... i'll just figure out which tank/pump is working and ditch the other side alltogether... i don't need the capacity now...
and yeah, #5 and #7 where crossed... haha, the injector harness/plugs are pretty freakin toasty at this point... i'm gonna splice in new injector plugs pretty quick...... water temp sender is busted.... i'll get one of those tomorrow too...
hey..... wtf is that slideknobby box thing under the column with the light on?
super clean frame and underbody..... i mean it needs some sanding/blasting but solid as he!!.... i may use my old K5 flat hood... this ones got this goofy crack in the sheetmetal in the front.. never seen one do that before.. very fixable, but i may just use my other clean one with the fuel pressure gauge on it...
oh, pm with what overnight tracked costs when that comes in, i WILL send you money for it... need to retire the Nogo pronto...![]()
Just FYI, I put 285 75 16's on my truck stock and paid 675 for the set of mastercraft coursers and love them.

Russian, and yeah he wanted it bad, but he asked me to find him one.found the plugs, thanks Issaam...... apparently on the trip, the glovebox latch exploded and it's contents, parts, bumper bolts, etc went everywhere... i found the clean plug assembly up under the dash behind the glovebox...
btw.... the truck showed up about 1:30 on monday on a regular single flatbed... bald guy Issam? said he was from Clifton.. SUPER heavy accent, maybe Greek? couldn't understand a damn word he said...he liked the truck...

The one on the left is from an 88 diesel, I guess it should be the same just different brakets, I have 2 of those, I will check to see if they are good and let you know, I also remembered I owe you the middle bumper brakets in the front, I will be mailing these with the title.found the plugs, thanks Issaam...... apparently on the trip, the glovebox latch exploded and it's contents, parts, bumper bolts, etc went everywhere... i found the clean plug assembly up under the dash behind the glovebox...

so you paid him directly?he was cool, wanted to know how much work was down here.. woulda tipped him, but i was broke other than his 1500 till tuesday...
dave, yeah i think it best to just get 4 more of the decent 285/85/16.. really i should take the 2 usable fronts, move them to the back with a pair of new ones, than put the other 2 new tires up front...

How soon you need to know?
I'm hoping to get my polished Welds back pretty soon, and I'll be mounting some 265's on them.
I've had 265's on a dually before but heavy loads in the box would make them touch...like 2500lbs worth...also I'm sure you know, but tire section widths vary a bunch...like 1.5" difference between diff tire makers. I've got some Duratrac Good years that are about as wide as I've seen for 265's...almost an inch wider than the Coursers I have on the front.
so you paid him directly?
Yeah he told me he's getting 1500, so I figured the rest was going to the broker, which is his cousin.![]()
What you talking about Willis?Damm Paul, 6 pages of a build thread and you don't ev en have the truck yet. Impressive!

those are 285's? I don't think those would bolt up without a spacer between the wheels?
at any rate, check the height of the new and old...many same sized tires are different dimensions...I think Coopers are some of the smallest tires made, and Good years are some of the biggest made. I had over an inch difference in some 235/85's I had.
I think Paul mistyped it, he has 235/85/16 tires on it now, those are pretty much 33" tall
Gotta subscribe to see what kinda of OCD masochist hell you're going to unleash on this truck![]()

Well you should have seen them on the trailer when he was trying to load it, he couldn't get enough traction to get it up, so I told him to put it in low gear granny low and let it idle up, and he made it.Looked through the thread and I didn't see any burn out pics with the skinnies yet![]()
