Ryoken's 89 Crew Cab Tubebed build... aka Mutt....

yeah, i may..... I'm thinking as i build it I'll just douche everything in green as i build it.. than when it's fabbed and i go to final install it with the custom fuel tank, I'll shoot it in black Imron.. with polished alum insert panels and ss tank....

hang it from our fork truck in the marina...

So does the dually feel "bigger" when you drive it than the K5? :dunno:

Cab doesn't look as high off the ground as your K5...and behind the wheel has to be very similar?

My little Ranger feels tiny after driving the Blazer...:doah:

oh, no doubt.. it has the WB of an ocean liner... K5's turn on a dime, this rig needs a 7 point turn....

another reason to move the back axle up some...

and getting the 56's in my garage in back is a priority.. she rides a little rough... maybe if I pile a couple great whites back there or a couple dozen dead bodies, she'll smooth out a bit...

slow down cowboy.... :haha: we'll get there.... for now, I have a temp plan to make it reasonable... gotta order some u-bolts and some odds and ends, but it'll be coming up shortly...

right now, I'm just battling to make it reliable and get it thru inspection...

I just put new springs and shocks with the factory blocks on the rear on my Crew Cab k30 and I can't believe how good it rides

I'm tentatively gonna ditch the factory block and put a flip in to make up the difference for now...

and the rig needs shocks at all corners BAD.....

Great shot. I'm going to go work on mine right now. Going to lift the front to match the back.

What are your plans on front?

I changed the shock mounts because I didnt have shocks to fit the goofy mounts. So I cut them off and made them.both go backwards. I'll show you a pic later
